This is a dual spring set-up. It comes with 16 dual springs, and 16 retainers. These re-use your stock spring bases.

TITANIUM VALVE RETAINERSWhen installing Titanium Valve Retainers on your cylinder head, an extra step is required. If you purchase our Racing Springs with Titanium Retainers, or our Titanium Retainers for stock springs, you MUST perform this step. It's not required with the Moly retainers.The Valve Keepers or Locks need to lock or cinch on to the valve and not let you rotate or spin the valve independently like you can on a stock set-up. Take the valve keepers and put them on the valve. Squeeze the two keepers together with your fingers. The valve can rotate or spin in them on a stock valve with stock keepers. We do NOT want the valve to rotate. Trim or grind the ends of the keepers "just enough" so they do not come together but rather there is a small gap between them. Then when you squeeze the keepers together, they are locked on the valve and your cannot turn or rotate the valve independent of the keepers. |
