Pauter Machine is probably the most used rods in the Porsche Aftermarket. When it comes to building our "In-House" engines, we prefer the Pauter Connecting Rods. They are known for their strength, light weight and windage characteristics.

Specifications & Misc Options:


  • E4340 vacuum melt chrome moly forging - CNC machined & Heat-treated to Rockwell C36; full coverage shotpeened; end-to-end balanced in sets. Pauter 220k psi tensile strength MSP220 steel, J-formed, rolled thread racing rod bolts (standard). Aluminum bronze wrist pin bushings (standard). EDM pressure-fed oiling to pin (available at extra cost).

    Custom Pin diameters and center-to-center rod lengths can be ordered at no additional cost. High performance bearings, tool steel wrist pins and forged aluminum pistons can be ordered specifically coordinated to your rod order (please inquire).

  • Pauter offers Titanium Connecting Rods. 65% the weight of chrome moly. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery on Titanium rods. (please inquire)

  • Rifle Drilling (special oiling) the rods is available for an additional $55.00 per connecting rod. Allow up to 6-7 weeks for delivery (please inquire).
