INTAKE HOSES 944T
Various Silicone Intake Hoses for the 944 Turbo. 2" through 3" J boots, hoses for the AOS
(air oil separator) vent tube and Cycling Valve (factory boost control).
The illustrations below are listed as "Early" and "Late". The Early should be the '86 thru '88 standard 944 Turbo. The Late would be the '88 and later produced 944
Turbo S cars. You should verify what you have just in case you have had a engine swap, or in case
Porsche used something different then what they state in their parts catalogs.
To help identify which you have, use these clues. The Early does not use the plastic vent fitting at the rear connection of the metal tube to the AOS tank and that hose
is a very short 90 degree hose. The Late uses the plastic vent fitting you would see sticking out the side of the hose and the hose is much longer then the Early hose. The Late also uses a cast aluminum fitting between the J-Boot and the hose #6 you see in our illustration where as the Early attaches directly to the J-Boot.
