TRANSMISSION MOUNTS 944 ALL
Lindsey Racing offers several transmission mount solutions for the 944's and 944 Turbo
from years '85/2 on. Stock OEM mounts, Solid and our latest "Ultra Mount" version.
Something for every purpose and budget. "Ultra Mount" Transmission Mount
The finest transmission mount you can find for your 944 or 944 Turbo fitting models
from '85/2 on. This mount is very similar to our Solid Transmission Mount only it utilizes
"four" rubber vibration isolators between the mount and the transmission
hanger frame. We choose four attaching points because that's what Porsche
felt was necessary, even on a bone stock car. Add some horsepower, and some
wide and/or sticky tires, and the transmission gets a lot more abuse hanging
back there.
The four isolators quite the vibration and gear noise associated with solid
mounts without the excessive movement associated with the stock OEM mount.
This mount is the sibling to our Ultra Mount engine mounts.

Note: You will be required top drill the 4 existing holes in your
transmission hanger where this attaches larger to 10mm.

Solid Transmission Mount
Lindsey Racing's one piece Solid Transmission Mount eliminates the
soft rubber style mount used by the factory. It is lighter, and allows for quicker shifting and improves handling. Fits all 944s from
'85/2 on.
We have hundreds of these mounts out there being abused every day since
first offered and have never heard of or seen a failure.
If you don't mind the gear whine of your transmission, this simple
solution will work well for you and not let you down. On the other hand,
on dedicated race cars, a little transmission noise is a good thing!
