"My Porsche friends, it's time we have our place to say what's on our mind and control the content.
We have encountered a few individuals over our short years in business who, by their bad behavior, have chosen to lower themselves to levels that we never expected to see. As hard as that may be to believe for a Porsche owner to behave, unfortunately they are out there. This has made me think they warrant some attention." Dave
This is a service to fellow vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, garages or the public at large in our Porsche Community.
The "Fecal Roster" is comprised of persons or businesses who have committed fraud, theft or just plain wronged Lindsey Racing in one way or another and in a huge way.
By bringing this to your attention, we hope to keep this from happening to you by these persons or businesses.
You might say this is our "high tech" version of the little bulletin board behind the cash register where you hang that bounced check, and put up a picture of the naughty ones.
C.E.P. / Custom Engineered Performance
Failure to deliver pre-paid for parts and workmanship in acceptable, re-sellable and as ordered, condition.
Andrew Wee / "Wee Pui Han"
Panchiao City, Taiwan
Andrew has purchased items and services from Lindsey Racing for his 951. He typically charges these purchases on credit cards of friends. After receiving the merchandise, they call their credit card companies and dispute or deny the purchases. Andrew has not answered the "many" attempts on our part to contact him to settle his mistake. Andrew has not communicated in any way directly with us that the products and or services were unsatisfactory in any way, shape or form. Had they been, as usual, we would have stepped up and made it right by offering re-work, exchange or refund or whatever was required.
Currently Andrew owes Lindsey Racing $1,032.75.
Andrew is currently trying to sell parts from his 951, including items purchased from Lindsey Racing, that have not been paid for and are involved in a possible fraud or scam claim. Parts purchased from him may cause the purchaser of these parts to end up in the legal system for possessing stolen or fraudulently obtained parts.
Andrew's total purchases over the last 18 months total approximately $10,000. About 6 orders were shipped. All order shipped as usual. Extremely quick. Complete and as per agreement on both ends. Never once has Andrew made mention of anything missing, misspacked, damaged in shipping, or unsatisfied with the products and or services.
Currently Andrew is making completely false accusations on a web Bulletin Board. That's obvious first off by his grossly exaggerated claims of amounts and shipments. This should be your first clue as to the legitimacy of his comments and how the truth, or should I say lies, get stretched. Anyone who has done business with Lindsey Racing knows we take great care of our customers. We do as promised. Are we perfect? Most of the time. If we make a mistake, we fix it and make things right. But only if we know about it can we fix anything. We feel this is Andrew's way of trying to make us go away and not pay his final bill. It's not, however, a matter of not paying a bill though, it's a matter of credit card fraud. Purchasing on a credit card, then telling the credit card company you did not authorize the purchase and will not pay the bill. In the end, and is the case here, the funds come back out of our accounts, leaving us the victim.
It's unfortunate that a customer who was so well taken care of has resorted to this posture. We can only assume he has hardships in his life and cannot pay for what he purchased. But that's no excuse for not accepting responsibility for his actions.
Andrew's actions will have ramifications on how we handle all overseas and domestic orders from this point on.
