3" TURBO DOWN PIPE 944T KKK & T4

Lindsey Racing's 944 Turbo 3" Turbo Down Pipes for both the KKK (stock style) and T4 turbos.
These utilize a three stud and nut connection to the primary exhaust like the stock exhaust does. However
they will not connect to the stock exhaust because the bolt circle is larger. Adapter flange must
be used.
If your running a larger turbo then the stock K26/6 or k26/8, then you need a larger down
pipe for maximum performance.
The turbine exhaust outlet opening on a K-26/6 turbo (standard on 86-88 944 Turbo) is 1-15/16". On a K-26/8 found on the Turbo S models, it's 2-3/16". Both of those turbo's
are a nice fit for the stock/original turbo down pipes flange opening. Once you go larger on the turbine opening then that, then the stock down pipe becomes a restrictor plate. Even a small entry level Stage 3 turbine has
a opening of 2.3". So using a Stock down pipe on a Stage 3 or larger outlet turbo is cutting your
potential power by restricting or blocking off the benefit you would be trying to get from using that
larger turbine.

- 3" Turbo Down Pipe
- Copper Gasket at Inlet Flange (V-Band Clamp on T-4 version)
- Copper Gasket at Outlet Flange
- Studs & Copper Nuts
Our Lindsey Racing 3 and 4" exhaust systems can attach directly to this down pipe. If you order
a exhaust system and select the down pipe option, the correct mating flange is on the next pipe down
stream of the Turbo Down Pipe. If you already have a Lindsey Racing 3" or 4" exhaust, fitted to a stock
down pipe, you can get our adapter flange (pictured below) which can be welded in place of your current flange.
You simply cut your pipe near the flange, test fit, and weld this adapter flange in place.
