STEAM VENT KIT

Fitting Location

Here we show you the location where we need to install the fitting in the cylinder head. This is a specific location where we have located a hollow chamber that cannot vent. Try to stay on target. Drill this location 21/64" and thread with a 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Thread) tap.

Fitting in Head

Here you see the fitting in the cylinder head. The supplied fitting already has a thread sealant on the threads to nothing else is required.

"T" Fitting at Coolant Tank

Tighten the supplied hose barbs into the "T" Fitting using thread tape. Install the 90 degree elbow fitting into the "T" Fitting. The 90 has the same thread sealant so nothing else is required.

Cut the small radiator vent hose and install the "T" Fitting assembly as pictured.

Hose Routing

Here you see how we ran the clear coolant hose from the cylinder head fitting to the "T" assembly.

To attach the hose to the fitting is as simple as pushing the hose into the fitting until it stops. If you cannot pull it back out, it's installed. To remove the hose, push the hose into the fitting, hold the little round collar on the fitting in place up against the main body of the fitting, then pull on the hose.
