ULTRA MOUNT TRANSMISSION MOUNT
Install Factory Bracket
Remove the factory transmission hanger support from the car. Remove the factory
transmission mount from the hanger support. Remove the factory transmission mount
adapter bracket (see red arrow) from the factory mount and using the two supplied M8 x 55mm bolts and 8mm flat washers, attach to the Ultra Transmission Mount as shown and tighten.
Drill Factory Transmission Hanger Support
The 4 main attaching bolts on the Ultra Transmission Mount are 10mm. The original were
8mm. So will be required to enlarge the holes for the 10mm bolts in the steel transmission
hanger.
Order of Hardware
Remove the 4 lock nuts and 4 flat washers from the 10mm bolts. The mounts come pre-assembled (loosely) and
the order of the bolts and washers should remain the same. But here we see how things
stack up.
Position
Place the mount inside the steel transmission hanger as shown. Make sure the orientation of
the adapter bracket is the same as originally positioned. A 10mm flat washer and lock
nut are placed on the outside of the hanger as shown. The other hardware remains stacked up
just like you see in the above pictures. Tighten securely the 10mm lock nuts.
