HORSEPOWER TALK MARCH 12, 2001

Hello from Lindsey Racing.

We have been very busy both trying to get new products ready and working on the "77" club racer. We debut the changes in the car in two weeks at the TWS PCA Club Race. Changes include the switch back to a front radiator. Utilization of our Stage II Intercooler. Addition of the Afterburner 2 Stage Boost Controller system. All new intake plumbing to and from the intercooler. Lindsey 951 wastegate. Lindsey MAF system. Lindsey 951 racing head (available to you in April). New lightweight side exit exhaust. Front winglets. The rear wing is going to miss this one. If you follow our project car site, you will see the new mods appear in a few weeks once time allows.

We have completed the 951 dual port wastegate and they are now available. We also posted information on the "Afterburner", 2 Stage Boost Controller. These are in the last stages of completion and will be available March 26th unless we have some glitch somewhere. You can find both of those at http://www.lindseyracing.com and click on the Boost Control link.

We have finished our testing with our new MAF system and are now in production. We should have 951 Stage I and II systems in late April. The Stage I will replace the stock AFM and utilize the stock rubber intake structure. The Stage II will use a fabricated intake boot and flow straight down the turbo. Available for both 2" (K-26) and 2-3/4" (K27 or hybrid) turbos. If you have been considering a MAF, you will want to take a good look at this one. We feel it will be the one to own.

For those interested, we built a new exhaust for our 944 Turbo project car. We had mentioned it on the rennlist (racing list) and have had several interested parties even though we have not made the decision to reproduce it. You can take a peek at the web site and click on exhaust. If you would be interested in one, drop us a quick note and we will set it aside and contact you later once we have more details.

Until next time, keep at least two wheels on the ground!
