Heartland Park at Topeka Kansas

Well, what can I say. My first club race. I didn't expect to do great. Main goal was do drive a good clean race and finish. I did battle it out with a couple of cars which made it fun. Beyond that, it seemed like a 15 lap drivers ed. Once the cars were spread out on this almost 3 mile course, you were out there on your own most of the time. I finished 7th in GT3S class out of 8 cars. The class results are shown here. I finished 20th out of 24 cars which the overall positions are shown here.

The overall results show us at 24th position out of 49 cars. The class results show us at 4th out of 8 in the GT3S class.

Maverick Region at Hallett.

The class results show us finishing 2nd in GT3S out of 4 in our class and 7th overall from 12th position on the starting grid.

In addition, our car won the "Best Prepared" Porsche Car award.

Throughout the weekend, the car ran great except for a couple of minor breakdowns. We snapped a hose clamp on the pressure pipe because it had worn thin rubbing against another part. We sprung a small antifreeze leak on a hose at the radiator. Both were easy fixes and thankfully happened prior to the actual race. Aside from keeping an eye on the tire pressures, the car seemed to be working fine.
