Have you heard about the benefits of a Mass Air Flow (MAF) Kit? Removing the
restrictive factory flapper door style Air Flow Meter (AFM) and replacing it with a Hot Wire style MAF Meter can add
instant power to your engine due to a decrease in restriction. It's just
plain easier for the engine to draw through a 3-1/4" wide open hole versus
sucking through a much smaller opening but only after pulling a spring loaded flapper door open first.
It's beneficial on almost stock engines, but a must on a highly
modified engine. The stock AFM can only support so much HP even though
it's doing it in a restrictive fashion. Once you get to that HP
limit, your only choice is MAF or complete engine management system which
gets a whole lot more expensive and complicated.
But in addition to the mechanical and flow side of things, at the same time, the superior air metering can enhance the car's overall running and tuning.

The Lindsey Racing Mass Air Flow system for the 944 Turbo
utilizes the latest in state of the art Mass Air Metering. These
MAF meters don't have just one, but have "Four" hot wire
elements doing the work. The output signal of these meters is
superior to anything else out there.
We used to sell the MAF meters that other companies still sell.
Even though they are still available, we wanted something
superior for metering the air and fine tuning for our
customers and to use in our packages and kits.
The QUAD-M Meter solutions have a built in fuel controller enabling you to adjust the
output voltages up or down like external piggy back fuel controller.
In addition to the Four hot wire sensors, the boards have a built-in
temp sensor so no need for external VAT sensors or wiring. The meter
itself measures 4" in overall length with 3-1/2" OD inlet and outlet flanges for hose connections.
If you're installing this MAF kit on a bone stock car, and later plan
to make 600 RWHP, these meters will accommodate both levels and
anything in between. This is the only and last meter you will
ever need.
This meter is also perfect for Blow-Thru applications and is
less prone to back flow and BOV turbulence than any other meter.

Includes all plumbing, hoses, clamps, air filter, wiring pigtail,
communication cable and instructions for a complete solution.
This kit installs in the 944T without any modifications to your
chassis other than the wiring connections of the meter and complete
removal of your factory AFM and air box. You can leave your headlight mechanism completely intact.
