HARD PIPES
Lindsey Racing's light weight Aluminum Hard Pipes for your 944 Turbo. Featuring mandril bends, minimal
number of pieces, bead rolled ends, silicone
connectors and clamps.
These pipes are made from the minimal number of pieces.
Many pipes we have seen have several cuts and
welds. Welds that are difficult if not impossible to clean up on the inside. These are clean inside and out
for un-restricted air flow and clean looks.
We use only mandril bent tubing to make for nicely flowing
turns in the piping. This translates into minimal restriction
and maximum air flow.
Benefits:
- The main benefit is the elimination of blowing the
connectors off. Stock pipes and connectors have a
tendency to come loose and blow off. Usually at the
wrong time or place. Imagine losing a connector during
a race. You're done! You can watch the fun from the
infield. Been there, done that!
- Second is the additional cooling from the aluminum
pipe material making for a cooler intake temperature.
- Third benefit is their good looks. Many of our
customers take pride in the under hood appearance of the engine compartment. These cleanly manufactured and
optional highly polished hard pipes fit the bill.

Material
Aluminum clearly makes the best hard pipes. Not only for
it's light weight, but there is a great amount of radiant heat dispersed along the pipes. Steel
or Stainless Steel pipes have no where near the heat
transfer rate of Aluminum. So to sum it up, the pipes
are acting as an intercooler in conjunction with the
actual intercooler. They "will make" additional Horse
Power by cooling the intake temperature further than other materials such as mild steel or stainless steel. Silicone Connectors
