2 PIECE CROSS OVER PIPE MODIFICATION 944T
The "Time Saver" Lindsey Racing 2 Piece Cross Over Pipe Modification
for the 944 Turbo.
If you have ever removed your cross over pipe, you know what a job it can be. The six bolts at the header connection are easy to access. However
the 4 bolts at the turbo's turbine housing are not. Getting at those requires removal
of the intake manifold, brake master cylinder sheet metal shielding, O2 sensor and more.
With this modification to your cross over pipe, you can leave all that alone!
This 2 piece modification is performed to your original cross over pipe
and allows you do drop the center out of the way for easy oil pan access. A huge "Time Saver". You'll totally understand the first or next time you have to remove yours.
This makes the job of changing bearings or oil pan gaskets a snap. Especially when you combine it with the other "Time Saver", the Lindsey Racing 3 Piece Cross Member. 
This upgrade uses a two flange system squeezing a crush ring for the seal just like at the header connection on the other end of the pipe. Tighten the 3 nuts onto the studs, and the connection is secure.
