MAFTERBURNER Graphical Mass Air Control

Lindsey Racing exclusively introduces the most tunable and flexible Mass Air Flow controller available. The Mafterburner. The Mafterburner can be used on any Lindsey Racing MAF kit, installed on any other MAF kit without a controller (like the Autothority) as an upgrade to make it controllable, upgrading a kit using a Ford PowerSports Meter, or used to control a 0-5v analog Vane Air Meter. Works on Porsche, BMW and more!

The Mafterburner allows you to fine tune your voltages in 250 cells between 0-5 volts. This gives you control every .02 of a volt. You can import and export your fuel maps to library, store, share or swap with others. You can down load fuel maps from our Fuel Library and get started immediately or start tuning yourself.

25 slider bars on the Graphical Tuner screen allow you to simply move the bars up or down to add or remove fuel by changing the voltage in that cell. You can tune the car ON-LINE while you drive, or tune OFF-LINE at your desk. Extremely flexible is what the Mafterburner is. Heck, you can even send your MAF file and data-log to someone with a Mafterburner and let them tune it for you! To make tuning easier, as you increase in voltage, the slider bars light up (yellow/red) to tell you which bar to adjust at that particular voltage point. This makes it extremely easy to know what to adjust, and we think idiot proof.

The Mafterburner has complete Data-Logging capabilities that outputs to a .txt file. You can view with Microsoft EXCEL or other applications and view Air Fuel Ratios, RPM, Voltage In and Out, Throttle angle and more. Tuning with Data-Logging is the perfect tuning tool. Better than tuning on a DYNO. Data-logging tells you real world conditions. The Air Fuel ratios are not filtered like they are on a dyno. Once logged, you can view your logs, pin point lean or rich spots at any particular RPM. With that known, you can target the voltage at that exact point and change the voltage "Out" with the slider bars. The Mafterburner has a built in ratio percentage calculator to allow you to calculate the percentage of change needed to meet your ratio target values. With this information, you can adjust the slider bars up and down to that exact percentage change needed and you're done! This can make it the easiest and fastest way to tune your car. The data logs at 20 times per second showing what's happening all the time. At 7000RPM, much can happen in a 20th of a second. This logger will snapshot it.

The Mafterburner has something others don't. A second fuel map. (actually it has 4, and we may let you access the other 2 in future software releases). This allows you to tune for different boost levels or fuels being used. For example you can have a 15psi pump gas map "and" a 20psi race gas map. A simple switch will activate it. You can also use it to activate a NOS systems. You can install a dry system and use the existing fuel system for the fueling. When you trigger the NOS, it also triggers the second map adjusted for your NOS and your existing injectors deliver the correct amount of fuel. No more guessing or installing additional fuel systems.

The Mafterburner is pre-set to accept several popular WBOS (wide band) oxygen sensor kits. Innovate Motorsports, AEM, FJO, Bailey and more. It's as simple as selecting your appropriate kit in the pull down menus. The data-logger only logs WBOS 1-4v sensors. It will not accurately log a 0-1v system. As more WBOS systems enter the market, we will offer software updates to include them.

We have all commonly used injector sizes from 19# to 93# pre-calibrated into the Mafterburner. If you change injector sizes, you simply tell it the new injector's size and it adjusts the entire fuel map automatically for you.
